ERICA goes ET

{MITZVAH MONDAY}

Coordinated by Denise Pierce of Simply Celebrate, Erica Tashma wanted an ET theme for her Bat Mitzvah, so our team was on it! Creating dimensional tablescapes to resemble the moon from the movie. Incorporating the details while keeping it personal for Erica too- Guests were greeted by with escort cards giving them the feel for the evening.

 Choosing different poses for the image made each table unique and fun to see what the other decor was.
 The seating and up lighting made the room at the Westin Wheeling so inviting for her event. Again Hype Productions was on board making for an Extra-Terrestrial party.

Historic Staircase in Caltagirone, Sicily Used as a Backdrop for Light and Flower Festivals

This is definitely an eye catcher! 142 stairs and climbing... each stair tile being unique in its own way. Adorned with flowers and in some cases candles for an evening show...just beautiful!

Photo Credits: by Andrea Annaloro

Built in 1608, the Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte is a 142-step staircase in Caltagirone, Sicily made from thousands of ceramic tiles, one design per step, as a fitting tribute to a city known for its design and production of ceramics and terra-cotta sculptures. For centuries the stairs have been used as a backdrop for various festivals for which images of patron saints and other local themes are illustrated using thousands of flowers or candles.

Enchanted Forest Wedding

This picture doesn't show near the details of this enchanted forest setting that was designed in the back yard of a  Riverwoods home. Birch trellis, burlap details and a tree lined aisle were a few of the visible elements, but look in the trees...white roses hung to add a beautiful ceiling affect. The guests were escorted down a custom white (rubber) plank path after enjoying cocktails by the waterfall. Later the guest enjoyed a full reception evening of dinner and dancing at Cuneo Mansion and Gardens.

Back to School - Butler University

{MITZVAH MONDAY}

All the stir in the stores and prep...it's Back to School time of year. Jack ended last school year with his Butler University theme Bar Mitzvah. Keeping with the collegiate feel, the family incorporated their last name to make this party one to remember.

The venue was Highland Park Country Club and you know that Hype Productions out did themselves when it came to the entertainment.
The room decor was a great look with all the up lighting and light up 3D table centerpieces designed by our creative staff.

 Sleek tablescapes and clean lines with Navy, Royal, Black and White as the color palette was a great look!

Bride's Bouquets are not always WHITE

It is a nice trend, brides are looking for color...some just a pop and others mostly all color in their bouquets. Our designers love to create bouquets for our brides that are of course beautiful but also fun!

History

  • Brides have carried flowers down the aisle for centuries, starting with ancient Greeks and Romans. The brides wore garlands made of herbs in their hair. The scent of the herbs was believed to protect the bride from evil spirits. In time, brides began carrying bouquets of flowers for the same purpose.  Although most modern brides aren't concerned about warding off spirits, the bouquet has become a traditional part of a bride's attire.
